This is simply superb! I love light backgrounds. They don't always work, as you know, but when they do work, they do so in a major way! I wish I had the time to devote to creating a group for light background fractals only! That would be fun.

Cool, I don't have a system. I just try the different gradients against the white backgrounds. It depends on my frame of mind. One of the things I really like about the white backgrounds is how soft and delicate they can make a flame look. Of course, you can get a slap in the face dramatic one too with that perfect vibrant gradient choice as well.
